Harcross is very hard turquoise that ranges in color from blue, bluish green, to green, with limonite giving it a nice matrix. The Harcros deposit was discovered in 1908, bought by Walter Godber of the Godber-Burnham mine. Later the deposit would be claimed by F.B. Cross and J.J. Harrison leaving Harcross as the final name.
